A Journey to Fallingwater
The Appalachian Mountains run through PA and create the watershed where Fallingwater is located in Fayette County, PA. Fallingwater was built in the small town of Bear Run, just about an hour and a half drive south of Pittsburgh in the Laurel Highlands. Fallingwater is the only major Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house to open to the public with its furnishings, artwork, and setting intact. It instantly became famous, and today it is a National Historic Landmark. Visited by over 167, 000 people in 2015.

I went to see the Frank Lloyd Wright house with Mary Ann in October. She was a great guide. She was especially helpful in explaining how the tour worked, so that I could get the most out of the experience. She was also very accommodating and worked hard to make the entire day a fun time. Barb
