Explore Lake Toya, Mt.Usu and Noboribetsu Hell Valley by taxi
This is a private taxi tour and the schedule is very flexible. This is a perfect tour for a traveler who is interested in national parks, especially in lakes and volcanoes in Hokkaido. Lake Toya is the third largest caldera lake in Japan and was formed about 110, 000 years ago.
Next, Mt. Usu was born about 10, 000 years ago. Mt. Usu was dormant for a long period; however, in the 17th century it resumed volcanic activities. Next we will head for Noboribetsu Hot Spring. We will visit Jigokudani there. Jigokudani or "Hell Valley" is a spectacular valley. This valley was a former crater. It is a main source of hot spring waters of Noboribetu Hot Spring. There are 15 hot steam vents and a couple of sulfurous streams. Magma with high volcanic energy is believed to be stored underground. There is a walking trail to a geyser. Following it, you will realize the valley is appropriately named. This taxi tour is suitable for 4 travelers. I can also make a customized tour in order to meet your request.

Kuni is a great guide and is extremely knowledgeable about the areas of his tours. This is a great tour with some very picturesque views. I'd recommend this tour to anyone but I'd book it in May instead of April (still a little cold).
