I started working on tourism before I graduated, both freelance and for my local government, where I acquired a deep knowledge about my region; it's history, places of interest and traditions.
I describe myself as a very outgoing guy, so I try to pass on that energy to my customers, in terms of keeping your attention whenever I show my city, because every corner of my region has a history and I'm always eager to let you know the details of everything, with an excellent English level and fun stories to share.
Patience is one of my virtues, so If you have any mobility issues or require any type of special attention during our tour, I'll be more than glad to assist you.
Since the most iconic places of my region are located outside of the city, I usually work with a professional driver who knows all my routes, has all his documentation, and maintains his vehicle to a high standard. This allows me to focus all of my attention on you, my dear guests. :)
Welcome to La Serena!
A Recent Review of this guide
An interesting mix of history, wildlife (pelicans and seals), local culture and the gigantic Christian Cross. The free gelato's were a nice touch. Jamie was a great guide and because we had a separate driver (the excellent Marcelo) we were able to be dropped off at one point and picked up at another. Jamie was excellent in helping my wife who has mobility issues. If any future group has this problem I would recommend restricting the group size to 6 ( we were 7). Geoff.
