I started exploring my country when I was 9 years old with my father, a tireless traveller that used to take me to many hidden spots in Bolivia. That's when my passion for travel started. . . Many years later I would get a bachelor degree of Tourism and Hotel Management in Bolivia and did a master's degree in Ecotourism at Lima Perú.
Up until a few years ago I worked as a consultant in the amazon protecting an endangered bird and developing sustainable tourism together with an ethnic tribe,
a job which allowed me to know in a deep way my indigenous friend's traditions and realize how immense is the diversity of cultures we have in Bolivia.
For example. . Did you know that Bolivia has the highest percentage of indigenous inhabitants in all of Latin America? Approximately 62% of Bolivia's population is indigenous.
That makes Bolivia a very attractive spot for you in South America, because we still practice our traditions and rituals as they were over 2000 years
ago. We are a country where the coca leaf is considered sacred, where we had the longest-standing civilization of America (Tiwanaku ruins) and we are one of the
countries with the richest biodiversity in the world.
I can show you all of that and much more, so I kindly invite you to have a great experience in Bolivia!
A Recent Review of this guide
I had a great time visiting La Paz with Fabian. We saw the main points of interest in the city center as well as the colourful main cemetery, the Sunday market in El Alto and the Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley). He was really flexible and willing to adapt the tour to my interests. I can totally recommend him as a guide in La Paz.
