I'm so passionate about showing you this beautiful city!
Since I have lived in the center of Kyoto for long time, I know the city very well and have confidence in meeting your requests.
I would love to take you to the places that travel guidebooks usually don't tell much, such as narrow back streets, quiet gardens, good restaurants which are popular by locals. . .
So please let me know your requests. I can show you Kyoto (and it's outskirts) by walking, cycling, driving and sometimes even running!
My guide philosophies are
1, To show you both "Great Kyoto" and "Off-the-beaten Kyoto".
2, To tell interesting stories about Japan. They can be about the history, culture and tradition but never going to be boring! My tour is not a history class (but still educational). Tour guides must be fun with humors and jokes.
3, Above all, making you all happy is my "Ultimate Goal". I hope in the end of the day, you would feel you want to come back again.
I'm looking forward to seeing you in Kyoto!
*Forgive me! I work as a full-time private tour guide almost every day and use my 100% energy for each small groups. I have many contacts from people and sometimes after the tour I get too tired to reply them back quickly. . If you need a quick advise or booking, maybe other Kyoto tour guides can work much faster than me and they are all very nice guides. Thank you for your patience!*

Kenzo gave us a great overview and more on Kyoto in such a short time— from key shrines to off the beaten path areas only locals know, to a taste of the food and introduction to the culture and religion, without feeling rushed. My teen age kids were very engaged and found it very interesting. Highlight of our trip. Thank you Kenzo!
I have a national certificate of an English speaking guide, registered in Kyoto Prefecture. My cert.No. is EN00278.
