Kyoto has more than 1000 years of history, and this tour is a great way to explore and discover charms of the city. Enjoy a panoramic tour seeing Yasaka Pagoda (often regarded as the symbol of Kyoto), Kiyomizu Temple (the number one destination for many tourists), Jishu Shrine (the cupid of Japan), walking down Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka feeling the old-days Kyoto with traditional two-story shops and restaurants, visiting Ginkaku-ji known as the "Silver Pavilion", strolling around Geisha town of Gion.
This is a full day tour (8 hours) which allows a fully guided tour around Kyoto showing you all the places you may wish to return to in Kyoto another day.

Meet at your hotel or the entrance of Kyoto Tourist Information Center "Kyo-navi" on the second floor of JR Kyoto station Building in the morning.
Yasaka Pagoda, a five-story pagoda which stands in the historic preservation area. (usually the inside is not open to the public but worth seeing!)
Kiyomizu Temple on the eastern hills (Famous for its views and the fifty-foot platform supported by 139 pillars) or Sanju-sangendo temple (you can see more than 1, 000 Buddhist statues in one hall!)
* Kiyomizu temple's main hall is covered up for the restoration work of its roof.
Jishu Shrine in the grounds of Kiyomizu Temple (noted for bringing luck in love)
Sannen-zaka and Ninen- zaka slopes (a remembrance of time past, shops and restaurants on both sides)
Ginkaku-ji (known as the Silver Pavilion where Shogun spent the war years preoccupied with the pursuit of arts)
Gion area (Well-known Geisha area )
By combining public transportation and taxi, you can visit Fushimi-Inari shrine, too.

The tour duration might be affected by the weather or the traffic.
We will take a public bus and also do some walking. A 1-day bus ticket is 600JPY/person.
It is sometimes advisable to take a taxi in order to save time. A taxi can take 4people at maximum. It costs about 800JPY~3,500JPY to go from one place to another.
