Explore one of the three greatest castles in Japan and a beautiful Japanese garden
Kumamoto castle, one of the three greatest castles in Japan, is located 115 kilometers away from Fukuoka city, but thanks to the Shinkansen Bullet train, you can go there within an hour.
There are many must-see buildings in the compound of Kumamoto castle, including the only original tower, Uto castle tower, the Main Palace, the Main tower, Kato Shrine and so on.
Suizenji Park is another landmark of Kumamoto city. The park was modeled after the old-time 53 post stations connecting Tokyo and Kyoto, so you can see a minuature Mt. Fuji in this garden.
If you are a JR Railway Pass holder, this tour will be perfect for you.
