Thai Buddhist Chetawan Temple is the only authentic-design Thai temple in Kuala Lumpur. Established in 1956 when then Malaya was on the verge of gaining independence, the temple was also to reflect the status of Buddhism as one of the major religions in the country, and also serve as a symbol of the long standing close relationship that existed between Thailand and Malaya.
Thean Hou Temple is dedicated to Goddess Thean Hou (The Heavenly Mother) with elements of Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism combined modern architectural techniques and authentic traditional design featuring imposing pillars, spectacular roofs, ornate carvings, intricate embellishments and beautifully decorated by dragon-inspired columns and immaculate rooftops.
Batu Caves Temple limestone cave discovered in 1892 and a sacred place for Malaysian Hindu's with the main shrine lodged in a cave (100m long, 40m wide and 100m high (272 steps) above ground dedicated to Lord Murugan (World's tallest statue of Karthikeyan 42. 7m high statue).

We did the religion tour with Ben and thought it was excellent. Ben is very passionate about all the different religions and did an amazing job at the Batu Caves giving us information including geological information as well as the history of the religions .
