Here, for you, I designed all the experiences to be real "tours by a local". Every single one of them is slightly different from the standard offer of tours in Krakow. I will be thrilled to show you the "must-sees", recommend the "must-dos", and take you off the beaten track to mingle with the locals in Krakow and its surroundings.
I did my best planning the tours you can book with me but they lack the most important factor. You.
Are you a culture vulture? We will go an extra mile to see some explicit art.
Are you more of a people-watching-while-sipping-coffee kind of traveler?
No problem, we will skip the "yet another church" :)
Take a look at the itineraries that I offer here for you, and if there is anything that you would like to change or add to them, just request a customized tour. Then anything can be done!
I will be looking forward to you message. If you would like to get to know me a little better, here is a bit of background information.
I was born in 1989, just two months after the first democratic election in Poland. My attitude towards my country was shaped by my family: the grandparents, all of whom still had the trauma and vivid memories of World War II, and my parents, who spent their 20s watching the long-awaited fall of communism. This background is a reason for my fascination with the 20th century history.
It makes me extremely proud that after 30 years of struggle to "catch up with the West" Poland is gaining so much recognition from world travelers and I feel privileged to get to share with you the amazing history and culture of my country!
For my education I chose two faculties: Tourism and English Language & Culture. Now, after 8 years of working as a city guide and tour leader, I believe this was a perfect combination which helped me provide first-class service to my guests. My energy, sunny disposition, and fascination with Krakow are contagious and will make your visit here worthwhile never mind the weather or time of day!
A Recent Review of this guide
Zuzanna, our excellent English speaking guide certainly knows her stuff and is incredibly well-read with an excellent knowledge of all things related to this horrific place, including historic anti-semitism, Polish resistance/collusion and the horrors the local population endured during and after the war. The visit to Oswiecim after the camps was a bonus and a good opportunity to discuss the day. I would highly recommend her as a guide.
