Kraków, Poland

Welcome to Poland :) I have been tour guide from 2012.

It will be a pleasure to show you Krakow and south part of Poland.

I am licensed tour guide in Krakow. I took one year course to become tour guide. I know secrets of this unique city. I love sharing my knowledge about our lovely city, I am also very much interested in the Jewish heritage of Krakow. I will help you experience better the sights, sounds, and culture of Krakow. I love history and meeting new people, that's why guiding is really my passion. I think having a great sense of humour is very important in life, so I try mixing history with lots of funny stories during my tours. This is a private tours, the focus is on making the tour the way you want it!

I have been working as tour guide mainly with English-speaking visitors. I work with large groups about 50 people as well as small ones. I had the opportunity to run different types of groups: kids, youth, students, disabled people, families as well as business and corporate client having their conferences in Krakow.

I have extensive tourism experience including guiding groups in Italy, Spain, France, Portugal and Central Europe. It allowed me to combine many stories and facts from almost whole Europe.

Lesser Poland is called the region with the main city - Krakow. In Krakow there are many things to do and many things to see - The Old town, Jewish district, Ghetto area, Communist district. For me, being traveller it is also important to immerse yourself in a local culture. I will help you to understand our habits and show local places with good food and give you some tips how to avoid tourist traps.

Get off the beaten track and come discover Krakow with me.

A Recent Review of this guide

Bartek has first-rate knowledge of Krakow's history. He was interesting, informative, and always had good stories. Most importantly, Bartek knew the most important sites and streets to show us, including places we most certainly would have missed if we had been on our own or part of a larger tour. This included the pew where Pope John Paul II prayed when he was a bishop and the library where Copernicus studied. Bartek has a friendly, pleasant personality. We recommend him highly.
