I've been travelling most of my grown-up time, a few years ago I decided to settle back in my hometown Piran, where I grew up and went to school.
Piran is one of the 3. most old Slovenian towns and for me is a pearl, becoming widely known for its medieval charm, narrow streets and that it was built on salt. The architecture is like in Venice, as it was built during 500 years of Venetian Republic. Slovenians are really proud of our clean waters and environment, organic food and short distances between the mountains, lakes, rivers and the Adriatic sea.
Apart from our three coastal towns: Piran, Izola and Koper, I would like to invite you to our beautiful countryside in Istria, where houses and walls in the fields were traditionally built with stone. The villages are surrounded by olive trees, wine grapes, gardens and some forests. There is a big choice of hiking inside this beautiful, almost untouched nature.
Our region/peninsula Istra is also well known for its cuisine and tasteful wines, which will be a part of some of my tours. My intention is to show you amazing yet touristically unknown places and offer you a tasting of local food and wines with my unique company.

We loved our Coast Hinterland tour that we took with Mirjam during our 30 day vacation to Europe In fact, it was one of the best tours that we took during the trip. She took us to small towns and avoided all the crowded tourist 'traps". We had a lovely meal at a private home/winery. She was very knowledgeable friendly, informative and fun....very good personality. Bravo...Mirjam...well done tour!
