I have a Mercedes Sprinter 11 passenger van with DVD screen and a Mercedes SUV for smaller groups. I provide snacks and water. I also have a Canon DSLR camera I take group photos and give you the link for free. We started doing that 4 years ago and have really loved the results and so have many families.
I arrived to the Big Island in 2007, as soon as I got off the plane it felt like home. I spent quite a few years in the Philippines growing up and my parents moved us to the Seattle area just as I was going into high school. The climate, trees, lava rock reminded me of the Philippines. Not to mention the rice and spam for breakfast!! I met my husband while living on the Big Island ten years ago. This island is a very special place and I love showing people the wonders here.
It is extremely important to me that you have a memorable tour and experience. Customer satisfaction is a huge priority for me.
All tours are customized to fit your needs and what you want to see. We change things depending on weather if that is a factor. I have umbrellas and provide ponchos if we run into rain. Most of the time we can avoid the majority of the bad weather.
The Big Island the newest and largest island in the Hawaiian island chain. I have a deep respect of the island and the culture here. Through experience I have found it's important to customize each tour to ensure everyone sees what they want.
Have a tour in mind you don't see me list? Send me a message and I will work towards accommodating you if possible. If you book a tour I will make sure I touch base with all customers if lava viewing becomes available or if anything changes, currently there isn't any active lava on the island.
We have recently moved to Volcano! We love it so much! I will be offering tours that you can meet me up here, this is more budget friendly for many families. I have now hiked many of the trails so I am going to offer some hiking tours as well. I have limited Kona pickup locations due to it being 2 hours from where I live, some people have met me in Waikoloa for a Volcano tour which works well since it's not as far. I have tours where you can meet me in Hilo as well.
All tours include photography: the photos are typically available by the next morning.
My husband Rob K. Is also a TBL guide, we can offer larger Tours groups up to 16 to 25 people, please contact us for availability.
