A detailed archaeological tour in Knossos, the capital city of the "Minoans" as they were named by Arthur Evans. Recommended for travellers interested in history and archaeology.
Wine tasting and a tour by wine experts, producers themselves, discussing winemaking through the stages from the vineyard to the cellar. Recommended for bon-viveurs preferably between the ages of 18 and 102.
-Pick up from your hotel, airport or cruise ship.
-Drive to Knossos site.
-An hour and thirty minute tour in situ, see the Queen's throne room, magazines, infra-structure, lustal basins, theatral area, and perhaps the "labyrinth".
-Drive to the winery.
-Winery tour, wine making step by step, explained by the experts. Wine tasting of course.
-Return to the pick up point.

Meeting location: Hotel reception hall, pier by the cruise ship, airport, rail or bus station or elsewhere upon agreement.
End location: Exact spot of departure unless otherwise agreed beforehand.
Duration: 5 hours
Up to 2 passengers: modern, clean, A/C taxi.
For 3 or 4 passengers: modern, clean, A/C six seater van with chauffeur.
