I was born in a small industrial Soviet Union town surrounded by grey skies and factories.
If somebody had told me then that one day I would be surrounded by green fields instead I wouldn't have taken them seriously at all.
My route to tour guiding was long and slow. After a degree in foreign languages from my local university, I worked as a teacher and translator, and then moved to Italy to work in the hospitality industry and eventually found my true home in Ireland.
If somebody back then had told me that one day I would be sitting on a coach, with a mike at my mouth and guiding groups around Ireland in Italian, or that private clients will be travelling with in my car, and I'll be sharing with them my knowledge on this country and its heartbreaking history, I would have laughed out loud.
But now I am a fully qualified tour guide and licensed driver and for the last seven years have been showing groups and individuals around every corner of this unique island.
And as well as my mother tongue, Russian, I speak English and Italian fluently.
What do my clients say about me?
They are impressed by my knowledge of Ireland, and my ability to express it, by my invaluable preparation and by my tours that have changed their opinion about this country, by my attention to detail and my ability to tailor a tour to their interests.
I'm committed to providing an excellent service and an experience of Ireland which leaves lasting memories.
What makes me different?
I am not native Irish but I have my personal touch and a true passion for this country and its people. I'm enthusiastic, reliable and flexible. I know the best places to visit, the best places to shop, the best places to eat and drink.
And I pace the day so that my clients have a relaxed but exciting and interesting time.
Let me share with you my passion for this beautiful, fascinating and unique land.

Some historical sites have their own guides. As a general rule the site guide gives a tour in English. If the translation to a different language is needed, they give a permission to translate, quietly, in order not to disturb the rest of the group.
