I have always loved the outdoors from an early age, having been brought up on a farm at the foothills of the Sliabh Mish mountains. I grew up in an area where history, Irish culture, traditional music and storytelling are still very much alive.
I am passionate about Ireland in general and have spent many of my holidays hiking, cycling and exploring the many different corners of our beautiful island, which I would now be very happy to share with our visitors.
In addition to our very popular and well-known tours 'The Ring of Kerry', 'The Dingle Peninsula', and the lesser known Beara peninsula, it is my vision to offer unique and fun experiences for our visitors, visiting the many archaeological sites on our island, the beautiful villages with their old-world charm, and travelling the back roads to get a glimpse of rural Ireland with its many hidden gems.
As we drive along the winding country roads of the Wild Atlantic Way, you may see a castle ruin or a long-deserted monastery that you would like to explore, or see a beautiful deserted beach and have a fancy to dip your toes in the ocean. On a private guided tour with me, you will have the flexibility to see what you want, take plenty of photos, or stop in a quaint town or village and have a coffee and meet some locals.
I am also passionate about food, and I am constantly seeking out new and exciting places to stop for a coffee and a gastronomic treat. I love Irish food and music, and I feel that the best way to end a great day out exploring the outdoors is with a good meal and a lively music session.
Why not leave the car at your hotel/accommodation and leave the driving to us, have that Irish coffee or glass of wine with your lunch, and not worry about navigating those narrow winding roads.
Join me for one of my tours, I look forward to showing you the Ireland that I love, and remember that any of my tours can be customized to suit you and your requirements.
A Recent Review of this guide
Anne and Dave were welcoming, informative, and extremely helpful the entire day. They put us at ease immediately and by the end of the day we had new friends. All that and through the day Anne gave us local color, history and a some wonderful pictures to go along with the lore. 9 hours is a long day and if you spend it with Anne and Dave the day just flies by. THANK YOU!!!
