Come and enjoy great and amazing views of Nairobi city as you connect with Nature. You will also see Kenya's wind farm and the great Rift Valley while hiking the Ngong Hills of Kenya.
This tour takes place at the Ngong Forest Reserve located about 26 Kilometers South West of Nairobi in the Maasai land area of Ngong. It's a popular walking and picnicking venue for Nairobi's locals and guests too.
The highest peak on the knuckle-shaped Ngong hills is at 2460 meters/ 8070 feet above sea level. The hike takes about 4 to 5 hours to complete, depending on fitness levels of participants. Later on, we will go for lunch at Olepolos Country Club in Kenya before heading back to Nairobi.
After Meeting in Nairobi city center or picking you up from your hotel, we will leave Nairobi for Ngong town arriving at the Ngong hills reserve main gate. From there we will begin the hike and sightseeing the spectacular Ngong hills and the Ngong wind farms. This will be followed by Lunch at Ole Polos Country Club before heading back to Nairobi and dropping you off at your hotel.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: I will meet you at Nairobi city center or pick you up from your hotel or preferred location within Nairobi.
End location: Our tour will end at Nairobi city center or drop off at your hotel.
Duration: 10 hours
We will depart Nairobi at 8:30 am. Traffic may build up but 10 hrs is enough for the activities.
We will go in a hired van. ( A new Toyota Noah van, clean, air-conditioned, capable of carrying up to 6 guests and well equipped with safety features like safety belts, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher.).
If the guests are willing to use local transport means, we can use a "Matatu" to Ngong town.
NB/: Matatus are unique buses used for public transportation in Kenya.
