including Boat tour

A visit to the sunken city, Kekova island and Simena, by boat. There will also be a swimming break. Myra ampitheatre and rock tombs. St Nicholas Church.
"Kekova" is Turkish for "plain of thyme" and describes the region including the island of Kekova, the villages of Kaleköy and Üçağiz and the three ancient towns of Simena, Teimussa and Tersane.
Myra, the home of St Nicholas. is well known for its amphitheatre (the largest in Lycia) and rock-cut tombs carved in the cliff above the theatre.
Lunch will be at Andriaki, which was Myra's seaport in Lycian times. Today there are several small restaurants with great sea views. We can eat fish or grilled meat all served with fresh salad.
St Nicholas Church, near Myra, contains the sarcophagus of St. Nicholas, who was a popular bishop in the 4th century AD, famous for his miracles and known for his kindness.
An early start is necessary to avoid traffic.

I will collect you from your hotel reception at 7:00 a. m. .
We will then drive for about 2 hours to Demre.

We will visit St Nicholas Church, admire the rock tombs and see the antique theatre.
After that, we will either drive to the Marina to stop for lunch or if you are hungry
we can find a restaurant in Demre where we can eat meat or fish with seasonal
fresh vegetable/salads.
From the marina we will enjoy a private boat trip to Kekova island - looking underwater at the
sunken city. Beneath the clear waters you can see the remains of Simena, a city ravaged by earthquakes around two thousand years ago.
After we return to the marina, we will then drive back to Belek. I will return you to
your hotel late afternoon.
