8-hour Car & Walking Tour
A lovely day out of Warsaw in a little Renaissance town beautifully located over Vistula River. This is one of the most magical little towns in Poland. These days this is a favourite spot, not only for the citizens of Warsaw to spend their weekends there, but most of all for artist painters who choose this place to live for its undoubtedly amazing landscape beauty.
On this tour we take you 150 km South of Warsaw to one of the most picturesque small towns in Poland. The little town of Kazimierz Dolny used to be an important point on a trade map of Poland.
We will visit the Old Market Square. We will walk up to the Hill of 3 Crosses to enjoy the panorama of the town and Vistula River. We will also take a short walk in the loess gorge.
This town is also a great example of the place where Polish and Jewish communities lived and worked together for centuries. We cannot miss the Jewish remains including the old Jewish cemetery.
If the weather permits, we can take a 1-hour cruise on Vistula river. Finally, we will make a short stop at a local vineyard and let you try some of the local wine.
If we are lucky to go there on a day when a local market is organized (once a month), you will have a chance to buy some of the local food and handicraft specialities.
