We will visit Jerusalem where it all began, the focus of Judaism for over 2000 years. We will take a spiritual journey to the heights of the Galilee to understand the unbroken chain of tradition. We will also tour Tel Aviv and see the modern story of Judaism.
This tour is intended to be an educational experience aimed at anyone interested in Judaism and its History or someone trying to connect with their own Jewish Heritage.
Day 1: The Beginning of Judaism - Tour of Jerusalem.
We visit: The Davidson Centre where the diaspora as we know it began, The Western Wall, the Jewish Quarter, Yad Vashem and some of the New City of Jerusalem. (There is a possibility of swapping one of the sites for the City of David)
Day 2: Jewish Tradition and Spirituality
We visit: Beit Shearim; the birthplace of Jewish Law, Safed; the birthplace of Kabbalah (Jewish Sprituality) and Tiberias and Hamat Tiberias where the 'Jerusalem' Talmud was written.
Day 3: Judaism and Modernity & our connection with the past.
We visit Independence Hall and Modern Tel Aviv. We visit the Diaspora Museum and have a Jewish learning experience.

The traffic , especially in cities, can seriously limit the duration of the tour.
Aspects of the tour may need to be altered in accordance with security updates.
An air-conditioned car or minivan depending on the size of the tour.

Each participant is expected to bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, sensible shoes and appropriate clothing (warm clothing if its cold, summer clothing if it is hot and modest clothing for religious sites.

A camera and money for souvenirs is a good idea.
As a religious Jew I cannot work on holy days. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your car /I can arrange for a separate car & driver. I am not permitted to guide in the PA. Only driver-guides / certain taxis may enter the Port of Ashdod.
