Dialogue with people of different faiths and ideologies

This tour introduces you to the Old City of Jerusalem, its four quarters, and the holy sites of the three major monotheistic religions, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.
Before rushing to explore the sites we start at a 19 th century model of Jerusalem in the Second Temple period. Perfect setting for a historical account from Abraham to Christ.
Walking through the Armenian Quarter, exiting Zion gate to the traditional Last Supper Room and Dormition Abbey on Mount Zion.
We'll explore the Jewish quarter, The Four Sephardic Synagogues, walking through the Cardo, Biblical Broad Wall built by king Hezekiah. Just before going to the Western wall we stop at Aish Hatorah to watch a 90 second video - the meaning of putting your prayer note in the Wall.
Then We will follow the stations of the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
My tour integrates Vantage points - allows one a wide and overall view of the Old city.

A Recent Review of this tour

We booked a private half day old city tour in German/English with Meir and truly can't say enough wonderful things about him and the tour. Meir was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of every corner in the old city, as well as taking us to a some special spots through his time as a tour guide. He was extremely patient and would highly recommend Meir in any tour you take in Israel. We look forward to having him again in the future.
