Dialogue with people of different faiths and ideologies

This tour introduces you to the Old City of Jerusalem, its four quarters, and the holy sites of the three major monotheistic religions, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.
Before rushing to explore the sites we start at a 19 th century model of Jerusalem in the Second Temple period. Perfect setting for a historical account from Abraham to Christ.
Walking through the Armenian Quarter, exiting Zion gate to the traditional Last Supper Room and Dormition Abbey on Mount Zion.
We'll explore the Jewish quarter, The Four Sephardic Synagogues, walking through the Cardo, Biblical Broad Wall built by king Hezekiah. Just before going to the Western wall we stop at Aish Hatorah to watch a 90 second video - the meaning of putting your prayer note in the Wall.
If possible, we'll go onto the Haram el-Sharif third holiest site to Islam.
Then We will follow the stations of the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
My tour integrates Vantage points - allows one a wide and overall view of the Old city.

A Recent Review of this tour

Mair was a wonderful tour guide, who was capable and willing to answer any and all questions I had about Jerusalem and Israel in general. Mair started our tour with a general overview of the old city before we walked around and talked me the specifics. I learned TONS on our tour and really had a wonderful time. Mair was a joy to spend the day with (I was the only one in my party). He is a smart, caring, and thoughtful guide. STRONGLY recommend.
