Jerusalem Old & New City focus with combination of walking and driving when exploring the city .
An orientation to Jerusalem spread over two days. Jerusalem is an overwhelming City. Experience has taught me that most people can absorb only so much!
In these two days of touring I try to make things a little easier by guiding you for 4 hours each day and then suggesting activities to do on your own, museums to visit , restaurants , or some panoramic views from strategic rooftops or balconies to drink a beer or relax over a glass of wine.
Also ideal for touring with teenagers! And for those who consider a half a day of touring and then some down time a good idea!
***CUSTOMIZED TOURS: I can create other personal tours departing Ashdod or Haifa, Tel Aviv or Jerusalem with minibus for private customized touring of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Masada, Dead Sea, Tel Aviv, Galilee, Golan and Negev regions.
Day 1: 4 hour Orientation & overview of Jerusalem with emphasis on Old City exploration: major religious sites, City quarters, markets, roofs, ramparts.

Zel is a terrific guide. He led us on a tour of the Old City of Jerusalem one morning and on the next morning he led us on a tour of the new city. He is a combination of a historian and an archeologist. He tried to impart the very complex history of Jerusalem in a style that allows you to comprehend this almost overwhelming history. He drove us in his air-conditioned SUV, and when we walked he traveled at an easy pace. His English is perfect. You can't go wrong booking him for a tour of Jerusalem.
