A full day touring Jerusalem by foot and vehicle in the Old and New City of Jerusalem and with a tour focus on the rich Christian heritage elements of the City and including optional visits to some of the city's major cultural sites including the Israel Museum & Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum.
From your Jerusalem hotel we will drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the Old City with a short walk to Dominus Flevit and then a walk (or drive) to the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane.
We will view the City of David where Jerusalem became David's capital some 3, 000 years ago and continue to the Western Wall, revered as Judaism most sacred site as the last remnant of the Second Temple with an optional visit to the Davidson Museum or a pre booked Western Wall tunnel tour.
We will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Christian quarter , the Temple Mount (if accessible) , the Via Dolorosa as well as Mount Zion with its churches, King David's Tomb, the Room of the Last Supper and the Church of the Dormition.
We will have opportunity to explore the other Old City quarters & markets and structure our day to also be able to visit the Israel Museum and /or Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum before returning to your hotel.
