Highlighting what makes Ithaca special!

Ithaca has a very active and energized community and, with a population of about 31, 000 people, it still has a small town feel. It is a place known for its picturesque setting, creativity, and intellect. Ithaca has made many "best places to live" lists and this tour will show you why. This tour will introduce you to the downtown area which boasts of 65 restaurants and bars into its 12 square blocks along with many independently owned and operated shops and to two main attractions that make Ithaca a natural beauty.

Never been to Ithaca before? Want to find out why people love it here? Come to experience Ithaca in a brief 3. 5 hour tour. You will see what makes Ithaca gorgeous. You will find it has much to offer to its residents and visitors! There are many amazing things to experience here in Ithaca but this tour will conveniently cover the "must-sees" while giving you the feel of what life in Ithaca is like!

You will see the city's most powerful waterfall which is uniquely walk-able from Ithaca neighborhoods. You will gaze upon Cayuga Lake and relax as the beautiful lake breeze makes you never want to leave. Next, you can't visit Ithaca without seeing the iconic Ithaca Commons. We will walk the three-block pedestrian mall and make a special stop at a locally owned Ithaca souvenir shop. Finally, we will dine at Ithaca's famous natural foods, a vegetarian restaurant that has been in operation for over 40 years!

Ithaca is a very happening place especially in the summer months. During the peak season, it is possible that we may encounter a planned event on the Ithaca Commons or Cayuga Lake which could affect the layout of the tour.

End Point Options: Airport, Hotel, Address or Intersection

Duration: 3 hours 30 min.

Ithaca has many events during the year. Most of them take place in the summer. Events on the Commons or Cayuga lake could making parking and visiting spots have longer wait times. Crowds are likely during these events.

You will travel in a Ford Flex Limited SUV. This is a clean, comfortable, reliable vehicle with air conditioning. It can accommodate five passengers comfortably.
