Each weekend I would go exploring and found that the breathtaking scenery and the social history of the island captured my imagination. I started to research my family tree and have traced back to 1600's, something I love doing and helping people with.
In 2011 I embarked on a journey, studying to become a blue badge guide, and finally in 2013 achieved my goal.
The Isle of Man is an incredible place to visit and has so much to offer its visitors, from its Viking and Celtic origins through the turbulent middle ages to the Victorian heritage that made it what it is today.
Light pollution is minimal here and it has been awarded 'dark skies' status. Like Mannanin the Celtic sea god of the Isle of Man, let me take you on a journey and show you my beautiful island and share its secrets with you!

We had such a lovely time with Jane who is interesting and extremely knowledgeable about Isle of Man. The day we toured many of the roads were closed for a bicycle race and Jane was able to navigate through and around these closures so we were still able to see all of the sights and learn about the amazing history of the area.
I am a qualified blue badge guide with the Manx Guild of Tourist Guides having qualified in 2013 with a good knowledge of local history, heritage sites and local areas of interest. I am fully insured and have full police checks as well as an up to date first aid certificate. Although I am not an accredited genealogists, I have been doing family research for a number of years.
I will take you out in my car it is comfortable and keeps costs to a minimum. It takes 3 passengers comfortably.
