For me the best thing about being a tour guide is meeting wonderful people from all across the world and getting to travel to Scotland's most beautiful and interesting locations.
I have a passion for history and am currently studying towards a BA degree in History. I like to share historical tales and bring the locations we visit to life. But I also love Scotland's myths and legends and love telling old tales as we journey across the Highlands together.
I have experience in conducting guided tours based on history, whisky, nature and wildlife, clan heritage. . . and even a yoga tour as well!
I would be happy to use my local knowledge to create a perfect tour for you.
On a personal note, I live in Assynt in the far north west of Scotland where I have just taken on a croft (small farm) and am planning on building an eco-house over the next couple of years. When I am not conducting tours, I work as the local school bus driver. In my spare time I enjoy wild-swimming, going out walking and playing ukulele.
Come and travel with me from Inverness and explore the Northern Scottish Highlands

GREAT DAY in Inverness with Gail, who was fun, energetic & very accommodating. She scheduled the day around our requests. Van was very comfortable & she used a headset so commentary was heard by all. We even had an issue when I realized I'd left my purse on the shore of Loch Ness where she'd taken us to dip our feet in the famous loch. She called a pub near the loch & asked them to check the shore & then returned to the loch to pick it up. Skipping lunch we still managed to see it all. Totally recommend

Some attractions employ their own guides, so would be unsuitable for me to guide you in these locations.
I am not a qualified Walking Guide. All walks should be considered based upon your personal abilities. A qualified guide can be arranged upon request.
