A taste of one of the most famous routes in the world. One day tour.
The new North Coast 500. 500 miles of Scottish awesomeness.
We will go West to Ullapool, a stop at the lovely local museum or stroll around the town then West again and North, along now of the most spectacular sceneries in the World, the Wildest part of the North West Coast of Scotland.
We will gently negotiate our way around the North West Highlands Geopark to arrive in Lochinver, stopping on the way Knockan Craig centre to see if it's true that Scotland was at the Equator and maybe part of America.
Stop (optional) at the Highland Stoneware pottery workshop and shop.
After lunch we will go East to meet (optional) a local legend, a Shennachie, a Gaelic speaker storyteller, who will share with us real life stories and (if we are lucky) maybe an ancient tale.
This is only one of the many possible tours in the area. If this is not what you dream of, I am very happy to design a tailor made tour for you.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Diana and the tour that she created for my family and me. Even before booking the tour, she was responsive, delightful, and immediately realized the sort of day trip that would perfect for my outdoorsy, rock-loving (geologically speaking) teenaged sons. From Knockan Crag to Ullapool, and even a quick stop at a distillery for my whisky-loving husband, we were treated to breathtaking geography and vistas, all while Diana regaled us with stories and music.
