The Bonete's beach is one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world according to the British newspaper "The Guardian". This paradisiacal beach is located in the oceanic side of Ilhabela, and is accessible only by hike or by boat. There we find the biggest traditional community of Ilhabela's archipelag, this community is black African, Indians and European pirates descendent, and preserve a different lifestyle because of geographical isolation. The hike to this beach holds a unique experience of contact with nature, through waterfalls and observing the beauty of the Atlantic Rainforest.

The depending on the location of your hotel, it took us about 1 hour to the trailhead.
We started the trail in the morning, we will hike 12 km trail in 5 hours crossing 3 waterfalls and a viewpoint. During the trip we will make rest stops and interpretation of the Atlantic Forest with observation of different species of animals and plants.
We will arrive to beach Bonete which concentrates the most traditional community caiçara at 12 o'clock. In this community we will have the opportunity to meet the local cuisine, a typical dish at lunch, know the community, culture through a walk and visiting some houses of artisans and interesting points. After meeting the community we know the river that supplies the community and the local nature.
Our return will be by boat, starting at approximately four-thirty or five hours, which will take us to the track starting point, and where we return drive to your hotel
