7 Hour Tour of the NASA Rocket Park, Texas Longhorn Steer, San Jacinto Monument and Battleship Texas Plus Lunch
During this 7 hour private tour you will visit the most interesting highlights of Houston. You will drive from your Houston hotel to the NASA Johnson Space Center. This is where NASA trains the astronauts and operates the US human space exploration programs. You will get an up close view of the Rocket Park including the massive Saturn V rocket used to send the Apollo astronauts to the moon. Your guide is a real rocket scientist who will explain everything you see and answer all of your questions in a way that you will easily understand. You will also visit the Western Heritage Pavilion to see some real Texas Longhorn Steer. Then, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant of your choice. After lunch, you will visit the San Jacinto Monument where Texas won independence from Mexico. From there, you will visit the impressive Battleship Texas for a brief photo stop before driving to the airport.
You can modify his tour for alternate pick up and drop off points such as the Galveston Cruise Port.
Your guide may change the order of your itinerary based on traffic and weather conditions.

2. Drive to the NASA Johnson Space Center.
3. Photo stop at the Space Shuttle. Your guide worked on this engineering marvel for 17 years.
4. Visit the Rocket Park and tour the Mercury/Redstone and Little Joe rockets.
5. See real Texas Longhorn Steer at the Western Heritage Pavilion
6. Visit an actual Saturn V rocket that launched the Apollo astronauts to the moon. It's the full length of a football field… very impressive!!
7. Lunch at a local area restaurant of your choice.
8. Visit the San Jacinto Monument where Texas won independence from Mexico.
9. Photo stop at the Battelship Texas.
10. Drive to the airport.
11. Drop off at your terminal in time to catch your next flight.

Meeting location: I will meet you at the main entrance to your hotel or another Houston area location of your choice.
For an additional charge of $40 (cash, USD), you can modify this tour for a pick up at the Galveston Cruise Port.
End location: Drop off at the airport or another Houston area location of your choice.

Duration: 7 hours
Houston traffic can be heavy during rush hour. Your guide will adjust your tour itinerary and timing to make sure you arrive at the airport with adequate time to catch your flight.
2012 Chrysler Town & Country van (silver) or 2010 Lexus 350 sedan (white), depending on the number of guests and luggage.
The van is large enough to comfortably carry 5 guests plus 2 pieces of checked luggage per person. Extra luggage or oversized luggage may require some bags to be stored in the passenger seating area.
The sedan is large enough to comfortably carry up to 3 guests plus 1 piece of checked luggage per person.
Estimated Local Cash Needed
15 USD - We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant after visiting the NASA space center. Meal choices include Texas BBQ, TEX-MEX, Local Seafood, Asian, Italian, Burgers, etc. Lunch prices range from $8 to $20 per person including tax and tip. You will be able to pay with any major credit card or cash ($ USD).
As a condition of service, all guests (or their legal guardian) riding as a passenger in my vehicle will be required to read and sign a liability release on boarding the vehicle.
