Home Stay with a Khasia Family at Lawachhara Rain Forest in Srimangal
Srimangal, the tea capital of Bangladesh & inhabitant of different tribal groups like Khashi, Monipuri, etc. Vast wetlands, locally known as "Beel" or "Haor" are the main source of sweet water fish of the country. Lawachhara, the evergreen rain forest with reach wildlife & world biggest tea gardens are the main attractions of this area.
Staying in a tribal village could be a unique opportunity for you to get a real test of home stay with a remote hill top tribal village known as Khashia Punjee" - the home of Khashia tribes inside the Lawachhara rain forest.
Day-1: Up on arrival at Bus/Train Station in Srimangal, our representative will provide a transfer to your host family. You host family will offer a traditional welcome to you. After having some local refreshment roam around the neighboring houses of the tribal village & meeting the locals. Lunch & Dinner would be offered by your host family.
Day-2: Today guide will offer you some local sightseeing tours covering Madhabpur lake, Tea gardens etc. Lunch at local restaurant in Srimangal & visit the town in the afternoon. Return to your host family for dinner & a night stay.
Day-3: After breakfast free till transfer to bus/train station.
