If you are a person who would like to learn about different aspects of Japan and wish to experience its culture on a deeper level, then please join one of my tours. When you finish you will love my city almost as much as I do.
Among the memorable experiences you can have on my tours are: Taste Hiroshima okonomiyaki, a local delicacy which is a favourite with my guests; Smell the abundant greenery of hidden gorges in the mountains surrounding Hiroshima; See the beautiful sunsets of the Seto Inland Sea; Learn about Hiroshima's tragic past and how it transformed my city into the treasure that it is today.
As a world traveler I have been exposed to various cultures and have lived in the historical cities of London and Kyoto. These experiences along with my professional background as an architect/interior designer have taught me what appeals to visitors from other parts of the world.
I have been a licensed tour guide for past four years. During that time I have guided groups ranging in size from a single guest to over forty guests, and I have given business and school tours. My guests have ranged in age from five to eighty years. In addition to guiding, I also teach English to the employees of the tourism industry.
Allow me to make your visit to Hiroshima a memorable one. Please contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you!
A Recent Review of this guide
Aiko is a great guide. Hiroshima is a special place. She did a great job of showing me the sights of Hiroshima and Miyajima. But, to me more importantly, she displayed the gentle spirit of the people there. A delicate beauty literally risen from the ashes. You couldn't do better.
