Hiking the Lighthouse of the Pacific and El Boqueron
Located in the Pacific Ring of Fire in America with a landscape dominated by rainforest, coffee plantations covered volcanoes, beautiful lakes of volcanic origin plus a good road network, El Salvador is an interesting destination for climbing volcanoes from the central, to the western and eastern.

Izalco is a perfectly symmetrical 6486 -feet naked volcano with Fantastic fields of black basalt and a certain highlight for hikers of any visit to El Salvador. also called The Lighthouse of the pacific and considered El Salvador's most beautiful volcano.
We will also visit San Salvador Volcano well-known by locals like El Boquerón or Wide mouth The volcano crater is about one-mile wide and 1, 600-feet deep with its small cinder cone on the crater floor, San Salvador volcano is the easiest volcano hike you can do
Our adventure begins in San Salvador we'll travel west from San Salvador to get to San Salvador Volcano best known by locals as El Boqueron this would be our first stop for an easy-going hike , we will walk an small section of the volcano crater east rim from there we will head west to Los Volcanes National Park Cerro Verde Entrance where we'll start the hike on the flanks of Cerro verde, tackle Izalco Volcano on a more challenging but equally rewarding hike to reach the Izalco volcano summit we have 30 minutes for lunch at the volcano summit and then have to head back to Cerro Verde on the same route, where our adventure concludes.

The hike for Izalco volcano starts at 11:00 am and it usually takes from 3:30 to 4:00 hours round trip for a person in good physical condition, we spent 30 minutes for lunch on top of the volcano and then head back to the starting point on the same route.
The hike could be canceled in case of heavy rain, strong winds, lightning and other kind of potential risk your tour guide could consider based on his experience and criteria
