Flavor of ''Belle Époque'' on the Left Bank of Seine.
We will start this tour in front of Saint Michel Fontaine, just opposite from the Île de la Cité and the ex-Royal Palace, today City Courthouse, with a view to famous Notre Dame de Paris, made known by Victor Hugo's novel ''Hunchback of Notre Dame''. We will stroll together narrow, cobbled streets, pass through passages, inner courtyards, true oasis of tranquillity in the turmoil of the city, to see the house of Picasso and the place where was crowned Louis XIII after the assassination of his father, Henry IV. We will indulge ourselves in the ''Belle Époque'' atmosphere of literary cafes (seeing three famous cafes, the oldest coffee houses in Paris, celebrated for their famous clientele, places where writers and philosophers used to meet). You will admire the Senate of France in the Luxembourg Garden and Marie de Medicis Fountain, the old and famous Sorbonne University, Roman Baths, astonish Gothic churches and cute markets.
