Two gems of Roman Archeology
With this great tour we will see the ancient city of Herculaneum and the artefacts buried by the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius in the 79 A. D.
We will start to see the roman shops, houses and sacred areas in Herculaneum. This city is smaller than Pompeii but probably it is better preserved.
The tour will continue in Naples where we will go to admire the incredible collection of the National Archaeological Museum. This museum is one of the most important in all over the world. Here there are exhibited artefacts, frescoes and mosaics that the archaeologists have found in the different Vesuvian sites in about 300 years of digs.

Roberto was an incredible guide during our trip to Herculaneum, and to the National Archaeological Museum in Naples. He is remarkably well-informed and was especially patient as he guided us through the archeological site at Herculaneum and the National Archaeological Museum. We arrived early on a Saturday to beat the crowd and were able to stop along the way and really understand what happened at Herculaneum in AD 79. We highly recommend Roberto for any trip to this area.
