We had only one full day in Helsinki, so we asked Lise to show us the most important sights. We walked and talked, covering the most important areas of Helsinki, and the dynamics of the Finnish and American histories and politics. We were awed by the Rock Church, amazed at Oodi, the incredible new library, and satiated at the Market. Afterwards, my sister-in-law and I went shopping, per Lise's directions, while the guys headed for our hotel. This was an incredible introduction to Finland. Thanks, Lise!
