I have 5 years of experience as a tour guide but I actually majored in Literature and Arts (yes, I know, I'm kind of nerdy; but don't worry, I'm cool). I have toured the country back to back so many times! and still it always surprises me: the valleys, the Caribbean sea, the mountains. . . La Habana. . . Yet, these are not the elements of your holidays I bet you will remember. You are going to fall in love with the people, the large heritage of merged African- Spanish cultures, the vibrant music, colors and life. At first it is going to be difficult to understand how this unique society works, but if you allow me to guide you, you are going to become an expert on the real-wonder Cuba represents and have fun during the process.
When I first started being a guide I quickly notice that there is no tour where both parties leave without taking a piece of each other; I will show you my roots and history, you will share yours with me, at the end we will be all conected by somethig far more special than social media. . . we will be bounded thru real people to people experieces and the memories of such.
So, if you are looking for a bubbly, talkative, crazy-about-caffeine-guide to share this adventure with. . . count me in!!
A Recent Review of this guide
My husband & I did the "Tasting la Habana" on July 4th with Ela. From start to finish it was an amazing experience. We only had one day in Cuba & wanted to get as hands on as possible with the culture, what better way to do that than through food! Every part of the tour was fun & delicious! The highlight of the tour however was Ela herself. She was energetic, friendly, fun & gave us a lot of thoughtful insights into the culture and daily life of this incredible country. Thank you for an unforgettable day!
