I was born and raised in Hanoi for more many years. I myself love Hanoi very much and would like to bring the beauty of city to international visitors in different ways that others might not know.
After having graduated from Hanoi Foreign Trade University (known as Harvard of Vietnam), plus courses on tourism, I have been working as a tour guide above 10 year experience with more than 1, 000 tours delivered and over 3, 000 tourists from 30 different countries.
In 2010, I received the great honor to do tour with Australian Prime Minister - Ms. Hon Julia Gillard MP when she visited Vietnam. I'm proud to be chosen to do tour with United States Trade Representative - Mr. Jon Kirk when he visited Vietnam in 2012.
I desire to bring the real and deep insights of Vietnam to my clients. You can feel, hence, the soul of our country in a truly authentic way.
Why me as your top notch tour guide in Hanoi?
1. THE KNOWLEDGE OF A LOCAL
What's great is that in addition to the planned facts and statistics, I can bring my own knowledge, experience and personal anecdotes to the tour. This certainly will make the tours with me feel particularly special for guests who are looking for a genuine experience outside the typical tourist attractions.
Not only having an in-depth knowledge of the site, its history and importance, but also do I have great passion for my subject and can convey my enthusiasm to clients, which makes the site really come alive. Additionally, I have a conversational grasp of commonly encountered languages. In fact, I am fluent at English and Chinese.
I am able to fool my guests reasonably well by having true insider knowledge of the best restaurants and neat little secrets that only residents tend to know.
2. SENSITIVITY AND FLEXIBILITY
I am careful: Full attention to every detail begins before departure, from the time customer inquiries about a trip and I prepare an estimate to the time travel documents are handed over, and from then on, continue through the tour as I assist my customers in every step.
I am attentive and respectful to everyone in the group, making sure that everyone can see and hear well. Having a relaxed manner, speaking clearly and with confidence, I can make sure that everyone is as safe and comfortable as possible.
I am sensitive to international differences, and able to tailor your deliveries to respect my guests where possible.
3. SENSE OF HUMOR
Apart from being outgoing and enthusiastic during the tour, with a great sense of humor, I will be able to inject some zest into my scripts and make the guests feel at ease and happy, increasing your enjoyment of the tour and cutting any tensions that may arise.
Professionalism and enthusiasm are clearly presented in every single thing I serve you! Above all, I have studied every possible way to make everything simpler, safer and more pleasant. Book me today and present yourself a wonderful time on the land of wonders!
A Recent Review of this guide
Tai is a wonderful guide and made our experience in Hanoi a memorable one. He showed us many sites around the city, explaining the history and significance of each one. He was flexible and allowed us to go at a pace that was very comfortable for us. The tour of the market and cooking class was a lot of fun for us; we had one of our favorite meals during our entire trip! We had a great time on this tour and really enjoyed having Tai as our guide. Highly recommended!
