Two London Gems - in One Day!
Our morning would be spent at the magnificent and ancient Tower of London, where we will follow the line of numerous re-incarnations of this splendid place and learn about lives of the kings in the distant past, marvel at the royal armors and visit a few exhibitions.
The culmination point of the visit would be entering the display of dazzling jewels of the British Crown ("crowns", rather!)
Then we take a train to get to the wondrous Hampton Court palace, with its amazing history (and stories, views and images). Apart from the palace, we can visit its splendid gardens and even taste the food, which in the past was favourite of a few generations of the English Kings!
Quite a treat - for the entire day!
Visiting Hampton Court palace, with a few exhibitions along the way.
Then taking train to the Tower. Or the other way around (Tower first and then Hampton Court).
Tower of London: exhibitions, Beefeaters, all possible stories about its history. And, of course, - treasures of the British Crown.

Marina K was an excellent guide for my wife, grandson and me. She pointed out all the important information for both sites, the Tower and Hampton Court. Highly recommended
