Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Museum
Hiroshima has its sad history of the atomic bomb. The atomic bomb dome shows you the past disaster. It was designated as one of the World Heritage sites.
There are a lot of monuments in the Peace Memorial Park. Each monument has its own background story which I have learned from my childhood. We will walk around the park to get to know for what reasons the monuments were built.
In the Peace Memorial Museum, you will see why and where the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, what really happened to local people in Hiroshima, and how people are working on for the future.
Finally, we go to Orizuru Tower to learn how to fold a paper crane and toss it from the top floor of the building where you can overlook the whole Hiroshima city.

Rie was efficient during the booking process and fabulous on tour. We took the Hiroshima WW2 tour which she made her own, with insight to the effect on local families - some of which were her own. We had some difficulties in arranging an evening dinner, which Rie resolved for us without us knowing - thank you. Would recommend. Greg
