An economical way to discover Athens

A tour recommended for people with limited time in Athens and others who have missed a point of interest such as the New Acropolis Museum. It covers all the highlites of the City such as The Acropolis, the Temple of Zeus and Arch of Hadrian, the Stadium of the 1896 Olympiad , the Athens view from the hill of St. George , The changing of the Royal Guards , The first University, Academy and Library neoclassic buildings , bronze statue of Ikaros , the Temple of Hephaestos and even a quick snack of Gyro an Athenian fast food . The driving time between highlites is 15 minutes

We drive north from Pireas Port along the coastal road that gives us a panoramic view of Athens plus the Olympic facilities and marinas. We arrive to the Athens Acropolis and visit for an hour. The entrance ticket of the Acropolis gives us free admission to our next stop Temple of Olympian Zeus. We continue to the First Modern Olympics stadium. short stop!We drive past the glass statue of the Marathon Man and drive to the top of Mt. Lycabetos where we enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Driving back to the center we see the change of the Royal Guard at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament building .
