Guided tour of Philadelphia's famous historic sites and must sees.

Walk in the footsteps of our founders while learning about each of their contributions to forming Philadelphia and our nation. Since religious freedom played a key role in pre- and post-Colonial America, we will also visit several of the Historic Churches while learning about the Saints from Philadelphia, Saint Katherine Drexel, Saint John Neumann and Frances Xavier Cabrini. We will visit all of the historical sites including Independence Hall, Congress Hall, the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross House, Signer's Garden, Christ Church and Ben Franklin's Grave, Franklin Court which includes the oldest Post Office in America and Old Saint Joseph's National Shrine while discovering many "Philly Firsts".

This tour is approximately 2 to 2. 5 hours covering 1. 5 miles. A nice add on to this tour is the tour to the Saint John Neumann Shrine.

A Recent Review of this tour

On a scale of 1-5 it was most certainly a 5. She was informative, courteous and lovely to be around. My husband and I were very pleased with all aspects of the tour, content, timing and improvising (when needed). We would certainly use ToursByLocals in our future trips and highly recommend Luanne for those traveling to the Philly area. Thank you.
