Dmitry graduated from the University and in 1992 got his first employment as a tour guide with one of the largest USA travel agencies of those times, starting from a regular field level guide growing to the agency manager in Russia.
Since then Dmitry worked and studied in different parts of the world; Singapore, USA, Malaysia, Canada, China, Japan and a few others. In 2004 Dmitry and his family moved to New Zealand. It took sometime to learn about the country and since 2006 Dmitry has been a tour guide in the Middle Earth, checking every mountain and looking into every volcano :)
That was my short story and history :) Every tour is a new challenge for me as every person is different. The itinerary and schedule may look the same, but the content always depends on my guests. Come as a client, leave as a friend!
See you in New Zealand!
A Recent Review of this guide
The morning began with rain but fortunately it cleared off. That was important because our first stop was to climb Mount Eden for spectacular views. Then it was off to see some of the town and a stop at Dove-Myer Robinson Park to see the beautiful rose gardens. This was followed by a stop at the Botanical Gardens at the Auckland Domain. At each location Dmitry gave us tons of information so we could appreciate the stops more. And every view he took us to was more beautiful than the last. A great tour!
