I know all about the City, especially its unique nooks and crannies - the places that only a local would know. Plus, I've explored most of Northern California's wonders - from the majestic National Parks to the quaint hidden country villages. While I've yet to explore everywhere in Northern California, I've been to most of the sights worth seeing.
If you want to do a more off-the-beaten path tour of San Francisco, the Bay Area, or Northern California, let me know your interests and I'll put together a unique itinerary for you.
If you're into wine, I've visited over 400 tasting rooms in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and San Luis Obispo Counties as well as the Sierra Foothills. Tell me a little about your tastes in wine and I'll put together an itinerary to best meet your interests.
Like the outdoors? Let's head to beautiful West Marin County with its rugged shoreline, historic dairy farms, and artisan cheese makers.
There are many more places to explore in San Francisco and Northern California than those included in my regular tours. If you don't see what you are looking for, tell me and I'll try to create a tour just for you.

Rick was absolutely fantastic. I had a great time and immensely enjoyed my tour to Bodega with him. He is vastly knowledgeable and extremely entertaining and thoughtful. I truly had one of those one of the kind experiences

The National Park Service prohibits guides from leading tours in Muir Woods. Therefore, on tours involving a visit to the park, I will talk to you about the trees during the drive to the Woods but will let you stroll through the redwoods on your own.
