One of the safest European capitals, Bucharest is also probably the most underrated. Dubbed "the Little Paris" during its heyday, Bucharest is a vibrant mix of Parisian architecture, Berlin-style nightlife, Istanbul's street-food and other influences from the Balkans.
I've accidentally become a tour guide more than 6 years ago, after being an avid traveler myself for many years. I did it because I truly believed Bucharest is misunderstood and insufficiently promoted as a tourist destination, but also because I genuinely love learning new things about this city every day. My favorite past-time is getting lost in the city, exploring streets, buildings, historic events and personal stories of its residents, and trying to make sense of everything for you, the visitor. My tours explore the city from specific perspectives, and are built as stories, rather than dry statistics. Because of this, I am also happy to customize them to your specific interests.

Very proffessional guide with a lot of knowledge about the topic. Very fluent English. The tour was well organised with stops at places of interest. The tour gave us a good knowledge of the communism in the country in a historical perspective. And how this has affected the country and local everyday-life both during communist time and up to present.. Highly recommended!
