Morning in Cocoa farm and afternoon in Guayaquil

This tour would be the best option for people who only have one day in the city. We get to visit the countryside in the morning, learn all about the Cocoa since it's a seed until it becomes chocolate. After that we go back to the city to visit the main highlights of it. So in this tour you get to see the countryside and the city on the same day.

Itinerary

We leave 10am from the hotel to the Cocoa farm. We get there at 11 and start the walking tour through the plantations. After that we start making our own chocolate. From there if you book lunch at the farm we have lunch there, otherwise we come back to the city for lunch. After that, we do a short city tour in which we get to visit the most important highlights of the City: the Iguana Park, Malecon 2000 and Las Penas.

A Recent Review of this tour

We (2 families w/ 3 teenage boys) had a day to spend in Guayaquil and we did the cacao farm/city tour. It was amazing! My son had his birthday and Mario amazed us: gift, cake, a delicious lunch with birthday surprise by the family who owned the farm. We learned a lot about cacao and actually made chocolate! In the afternoon we headed back to the city: Iguana Park, church and 444 steps to the lighthouse. A fun-filled, packed day! Mario is reliable, fun, knowledgeable and a great guy!
