Helsinki and Botanical Gardens
Helsinki is a green maritime city with a close connection to nature. Constructed parks and well-tended green areas are an important part of the city and raise the quality of life for the Helsinki residents. In this walking tour you will see the green Helsinki and visit two botanical gardens, City Winter Garden and University Botanical Garden. You walk through Central Park beside of Töölönlahti and see some of the most important buildings in Helsinki including the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, the Parliament Building, the Music House, the Finlandia Hall, the National Opera and the Olympic Stadium. You will hear history around these buildings.
We visit two city garden' s , Helsinki Winter Garden and University Botanical Gardens. You'll also see the beautiful Töölö Bay incl. Opera House, Finlandia Hall, Music Centre and Parliament building. We also pass Helsinki Railway Station designed by finnish architecht Eliel Saarinen. After the garden visits we finish our tour to Senate's Square, where you can see The Cathedral and university buildings.
