Experience the international food market, great shopping, hidden lanes, and the False Creek ferry with a private guide
Granville Island is home to all that is local in Vancouver (if it's not local, it's not allowed on the island). In the food market is a glorious show of baked goods, specialty chocolates, and deli delicacies that will make you drool.
But the Public Market is only the beginning. There are hidden lanes filled with artist studios and indie shops, miniature indoor malls with more unique shops, a walking path that shows off a marina and Crystal House, and to top it all off a ferry ride where you'll see many of Vancouver's hottest attractions -- from the water.
We'll begin at the Granville Island Hotel, and enjoy a seaside walk past some marinas, then stroll through some cozy shop-lined alleys and hidden squares on our way to the Granville Island Public Market.
At the market, we'll peruse the local crafts and sample some foods from the delis, bakeries, & tea shops.
Then, as a sightseeing highlight, we'll hop aboard the False Creek Ferry for a ride along the creek, checking out Vancouver's shores from the water.
