Photographing the most beautiful train terminal
In the center of Manhattan sits the most beautiful train terminal. Grand Central Terminal is a prime example Beaux-Arts architecture, built at the beginning of the 20th century at the height of train travel in America. It was also a great engineering feat of its day.
Today visitors and locals cross paths surrounded by unmatched beauty. The 49-acre terminal features many secrets and hundreds of pictures. Spectacular photo opportunities are everywhere, yet easily lost in the dazzle. I'm a professional photographer, will lead you through an eye-opening experience.
All levels of photographers and all cameras (yes cellphones) are welcome. We will carefully explore, shoot and learn. We will shoot photos from inside the terminal: Grand Central Terminal Market, Main Concourse and ceiling mural, Biltmore Waiting Room, Whispering Gallery, Oyster Bar, the Terminal's 44 platforms ( the world's largest) with 42 tracks on upper and 27 on a lower level. And we will walk around on the outside. Great tour in any weather.
