A different outlook (Private Tour)
In this tour I'd like to show some parts of the Alhambra's complex which are not so well known. Apart from the Nasrid Palaces and Gardens, there are so many curiosities hidden in specific nooks that we still conserve, and most of times we don't realize that they're there. So if you let me show you these places, we'll make a journey through the history, visiting both Muslim and Christian details, buildings and remains, gardens and woods, outside of what you'll see in the typical visits.
I start at the fountain in the middle of Plaza Nueva. I make a historical introduction and after it, I take a taxi to go to the Palace of Charles V, where we start the visit. After that we see some Christian and Muslim buildings, such as, the church, the Arab baths, the former monastery and the ancient Muslim palace. After that we leave the complex to walk through the forest, we see the walls and towers and the rest of the surrounding area before we get to the city center.
During the visit I leave some free time for having a break, the tour lasts a little bit over three hours including the stop.
I recommend wearing comfortable shoes, because we walk on red clay pathways, cobble-stone floors and also asphalt. We will come across some steps and slopes during the visit, but nothing complicated.

Very informative. Excellent command of English, excellent command of history of Alhambra itself, Spanish history, and culture of Spain after January 2, 1492. We learned a great deal of new information and stimulates us to learn more. We would recommend Guillermo to all interested in a full sense of history. He is more than a tour guide. He is a resource.
