It's my home district, and it's where I have been guiding tourists for more than 30 years.
I have also been working as a tour guide all over the Scandinavian countries, besides my profession as secondary school teacher.
In the House of Emigrants in Gothenburg it's possible to do genealogical research. I would love to take you to the places from where your ancestors emigrated. I guarantee you a memorable visit to Gothenburg and Sweden!

The West coast shore excursion to Marstrand was memorial. We were so lucky to arrive the day they had a wonderful boat show. The Carlsten Fortress on the island has an interesting history and its stonework was beautiful. We loved looking at all the boats and people. The fish soup we had that day at Arnell's restaurant was the best ever. The heather was in full bloom on the island and we hiked around the island for over an hour. The views of the sea were beautiful.
