Archaeological Museum-Acroplis-Agora-Plaka area
Our day will start with a visit to the most important museum of the country, the National Archaeological museum, where I will guide you throughout it's ancient collections and try to unfold the ancient Greek history!
we will walk down through the ancient market place the so-called Agora of Classical Athens, the heart of the ancient city. There, we will travel back in time and explore the essence of ancient Athenian democracy and religion. Outside the ancient Agora is the modern Agora with it's busy alleys. Today the area is called the Flea market. Last but no least we will wander in the Plaka area, with it's lovely Neoclassical buildings and it's countless shops.
Today we will visit the ancient and modern Agora, the National Archaeological museum of Athens and the Acropolis of Athens!
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: Parliament house or your Hotel if it is downtown Athens
End location: Downtown Athens wherever we agree.

Mondays the museum opens at 13.00 and Sundays the food market is closed
